Making a button an email link

Postby jessieb » Sun Jun 15, 2014 8:21 am

I built a new web site for a hotel in Dreamweaver. It is for a motel in my town. There needs to of coarse be a booking page. I have made a form with a submitt button and the user just filles it out and when they push the button the motel owner needs the details to go strait to them. How is the way to make Dreamweaver send the email?

Hello Jessieb,

Thank you for posting here, your problem is very common in a webdesign world. Making a form work on the website is not easy. It requires some special scripts to send the data, you can't just use simple html and css.

That's where MagicEdit comes in. With MagicEdit you can easily make any form work on the website. You don't need to learn any scripts or implement any php to make your form work. Just create a form on a page with Dreamweaver, add MagicEdit attribute to it and you're good to go, MagicEdit takes care the rest.

You can go through this tutorial on how to create a form in Dreamweaver with MagicEdit.

Hope it helps.
